My 2012 Hawaii Sup Quiver Details

Here’s some details about my Imagine standup paddle boards for this 2012 hawaii winter.

8’3″ Push: Since it’s becoming obvious that the secret to surfing a SUP like a shortboard is not reduced length, but reduced width and thickness, my shorter board is now 8’3″ but narrower. For the clean days in hawaii this Push is simply amazingly loose!

9’0″ Pro: When the waves are overhead, this 9 foot pro gives me the extra width and confidence to paddle and drop in any waves, still very loose, it drives down the line really good and stands out when the conditions are getting windy and bumpy.

9’9″ Gmac: Biggest board in my quiver for the biggest outer reef waves. What so amazing about this board is that it’s fast, stable and still loose…. all at 9’9″ which is big for an high performance wave standup nowadays.
